Patterns of the Past - 1928 Dresses


From Needlecraft , May 1928. A dressmaking article elsewhere in the magazine states that pattern 750 is a housedress.

There are a few pictures of my grandmother and her sister in dresses like these. Luckily, both women had lovely figures and could pull off the style.

I adore the little girls' outfits.

I am always a little suprised about the shoes that tennis players wear (or is she just depicted as a mother picking up the toys after the children are done.....)
